Talent Match is a lottery funded programme to deliver creative ways to help ‘hard to reach’ NEET young people who have been out of work or training for over 12 months to become job ready, find work or start their own enterprises. The Talent Match programme is being delivered across the Sheffield City Region with Sheffield Futures as the accountable body. Sheffield Cubed is the local co-ordinator for the Sheffield element. The contract started in January 2014 and the programme will run for five years. The Talent Match activity includes Coaching, Peer Mentoring, Wage Subsidy, Specialist Support and Enterprise Creation. This work has been tendered via YorTender and Sheffield Futures are in the process of awarding contracts.
