Transforming Local Infrastructure Services
SWBC is one of 10 local infrastructure bodies working together (through Office of Civil Society monies) to develop a more joined up and innovative range of services to the 3rd sector. There are 4 elements to the programme- Sheffield Gives, An integrated menu of agreed Infrastructure services provided by quality assured organisations (SIS), access to Change and Innovation Funds, and a pilot voucher scheme for organisations to access the Sheffield Infrastructure Service. The service will be launched in early Autumn. Full details can be found on www.vas.org.uk
Aligned to this SWBC, Sheffield Youth Consortia and PROSPER have been given £10,000 from the City Council’s Voluntary Sector Grant Fund to develop business skills across the Consortia and it’s members, and to look at ways of working effectively across the 3 Consortia. Members will be invited to a large scale event in September to help shape a sustainable business model for consortia and partnership working. Details to follow.
