Since I have started being active I feel so much better. If it wasn’t for Ronan (Health Champion at DWB) I would have had to stop attending the walking group because I was holding the others up. Ronan now takes me on a more suitable route for me on my own." |

The only other form of exercise I get is doing the house-work so this gets me out. When I started I could barely walk 500 yards because I was so out of breath, where as now I can walk over an hour. It’s great having Health Champions to support walks!" |

We also attend Tai-Chi once a week this is improving our balance and strength and the walk keeps us fit." |

Since coming to the group I have cut back on the amount of bread I eat as I take more notice of food intake, portion sizes and frequency.
